The distance from OmBodhi Retreat to Gokarna is approximately 42 kilometers by road or 14 kilometers via a ferry across the Aghanashini River.
Family Studio Rooms are designed to provide comfort for families of four, making them ideal for extended stays. Guests staying for more than seven days have access to kitchen facilities. These rooms accommodate four people and include a kitchen, toilet, and bathroom. They are air-conditioned and feature both hand and head showers with geysers for hot water. The beach is located 200 to 250 meters from these accommodations.
OmBodhi Retreat is a beachfront establishment in Kumta, covering an area of 10 acres of lush greenery.
Facilities available at the property include a restaurant, hammocks, beach loungers, beach bathrooms, and a 24-hour power backup system. For hygiene purposes, all water is treated through a Water Treatment Plant (WTP) before being supplied to bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas. Additionally, water from bathrooms and kitchens is filtered, and the collected water is utilized for irrigation in the plantation.
Please Note: During the Monsoon Season (usually June to September), all the verandas/balconies and the restaurant (partly or fully) may remain covered by screens to protect these structures from lashing rainfall and high velocity coastal winds laden with salty moisture. In addition, we do not provide beach recliners/beds, hammocks and few other facilities that get hampered during the monsoon season. Our Monsoon Season rates have taken these factors into consideration.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time.
